Joe Scheller is a documentary photojournalist currently living in Butte, Montana.
He is drawn to stories about everyday life, and believes they can help ground us and remind us of the humanity we share with one another. Joe also believes that people are the adventure of a lifetime, and that their stories are gifts and should be treated as such.
He interned at The Columbus Dispatch, The Morning Call and WOUB Public Media, and holds a master’s degree in documentary photojournalism from Ohio University.
Joe is a licensed FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot.
Joe has bylines in Associated Press, New York Times, Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, USA Today, ESPN and Sports Illustrated, among others.
